When I say that I dated lots of Gingers but I married a Maryann everybody knows what I'm talking about. (I really did.)
"Pork chops & apple sauce." Those words will haunt me forever.
Davy Jones singing Girl Look What You've Done to Me with the oversized headphones!
The one where Gilligan ruins the gang's attempt to get off the island. ;)
Every time we broke something (4 kids in my family), no matter what the circumstances or what got broke it was: "Mom said never play ball in the house."
I learned on the Brady Bunch that the best way to solve an argument is to have a competition where teams take turns trying to build a gigantic house of cards. (Two extra tips I learned: don't wear a bracelet, keep your dog away.)
This interview is so interesting. Sherwood Schwartz is a real genius for coming up with 2 classic shows with very differing kinds of feels.
Any Gilligan's Island where the gang puts on the show, especially the Honeybees concert.
Marsha. Marsha. Marsha!
(I'm a middle child too)
Sue
[Singing] Why can't I get.....seven people off an island.
If you have a chance to see Gilligan's Island - The Musical, put it on your list. I think it was written by Sherwood's son, and it is a great evening's fun.
Jan's made-up boyfriend, "George. George...(sees drinking glass) Glass"
My sister and I still use the name when we bring up fake people.
On Gilligan's Island when Gilligan was a puppet dictator Napoleon. It's like government today.
The THEME SONGS!!!!!!!!!!!! Who can forget those?
I learned from my favorite Brady Bunch episode not to be a tattletale like Cindy...because all life's lessons can be found in classic TV.
My favorite moment is when Bobby becomes a strict hall monitor but then has to break all the rules to rescus a cat.
Did a housekeeper like Alice ever exist in real life?
I always liked the multipart episodes on the Brady Bunch like the Hawaii trip (where I first learned what a tabu was).
The Harlem Globetrotters on Gilligans Island. Mr. Schwartz, what you were you thinking? Of course we watched it anyway and loved it.
